  1. Fishing Adventure (4 Hours): Cast your lines and reel in the excitement as we explore the serene waters with Historic Coast Outfitters. Whether you’re an experienced angler or a first-timer, this is your chance to connect with fellow fishing enthusiasts.

  2. Shore Lunch and Tasting (1 Hour): After an exhilarating morning on the water, we’ll gather on the shore for a delicious lunch. Enjoy an appetizer of fresh ceviche and a non-seafood dip while burgers and brats are grilled. Relax and soak in the picturesque views.

  3. Whiskey Tasting by St. Augustine Distillery: Raise your glasses! Head Distiller Daniel Joslin from St. Augustine Distillery will guide us through a tasting of their finest spirits after lunch. Learn about the art of whiskey-making and savor the flavors that make each sip memorable.

  4. Hosted by Whiskey and a Hammock: The team at Whiskey and a Hammock has curated this unique experience, blending adventure, camaraderie, and a touch of indulgence.

     

Cost: The participation fee for this exclusive event is $400 per person. This covers all activities, lunch, Whiskey and a Hammock SPF Hoodie, and the whiskey tasting experience.

 

Fishing Targets: During our fishing adventure, we’ll have the opportunity to catch a variety of exciting species, including:

  • Redfish

  • Trout

  • Flounder

  • Black Drum

  • Sheepshead

     

RSVP: This exclusive opportunity  will take place on four separate vessels providing you a more personal experience with your own HCO captain.

In July we attended the first annual Jax Bourbon Social to fight MS. Not only did we get show up and drink whiskey, we were also fortunate to contribute along so many other generous bourbon lovers. This all took place at Manifest Distilling headquarters in down town Jacksonville, FL where you could catch Whistlepig, Grey Matter Distilling, Ezra Brooks and Four Roses aplenty for your sampling pleasure. Over $23,000 was raised in the effort to eradicate MS. Easy to say that a great time was had by all. This #whiskey venture took us to St. Augustine for their annual Food and Wine Festival(plus spirits). The spirit part is what brought us there. Saw friends and made new ones. Had samples from St. Augustine Distillery, Laws Whiskey House and new to us, Fighting 69th Irish Whiskey, Ugly Dog and Prohibition Pops. It is what it sounds like, an alcoholic/slush popsicle. Whistlepig Sugar Shack Piggyback Bourbon Launch & 4th edition 18yr

Went on a #whiskeyventure to Armature Works in Tampa Florida for the Piggyback Bourbon Launch. Only four of these Sugar Shack events are happening throughout the country so we HAD to make it to Tampa! The Shack was serving old fashioneds on one side and bourbon sours on the other both with the Whistlepig Maple Syrup. We were able to get into the Shack and talked to the Whistlepig Rep. Ingrid who gave us a rundown on the Pig and later we caught up with her at the second part of the event at the Barrymore Hotel for the Pig Roast & Bourbon Launch. Kris was able to get a quick interview with Ingrid and she brought the goods, we talked whiskey while sippin' on the new 4th edition Whistlepig 18 year that is finished in Pedro Ximenez casks for an unbelievable finish! Our first big event almost didn't happen because of hurricane Ian. He happened to go right past us and took all the clouds with him and left sunshine and whiskey! Thanks to all the came out, the Backwater Jam rocked the place and plenty of whiskey flowin from Von Payne Black Whiskey, Gunnar's Bourbon, Sagamore Rye Spirit, Manifest Distillery, Luca Mariano, Redneck Riviera, Laws Whiskey House and Golden Ox Liquors of Normandy. The best pizza in Jax was served up by Hillary's Chicago Pizza and sweet cigar smoke filled the air with Monte DeLeon's Traveling Cigar Lounge. This #whiskeyventure we headed down to Forward/Slash Distillery in Orlando, FL where we met Ingrid from Whistlepig and CEO/Master Distiller Darryl McNally from Limavady Irish Whiskey. What an experience! Darryl is one of 3 Master Distillers in Ireland, born and bred in Limavady which had a distillery from 1750 to 1910. To say it's in his blood is an understatement.
